Born and raised in North Babylon, New York, I lived there until December '01 when my husband, Carlo, and my daughter, Emily, and I moved to beautiful Oakdale. After teaching for over 30 years, I look forward to my imminent retirement. I have decided to document what may be my final year of teaching in this blog, and I feel that by sharing some of my thoughts, which I certainly hope are "sweet," I might move on to this new stage of my life with better insight and clearer view. I also look forward to the expansion of my small home baked goods business, sharing my "goodies," like my world-famous jelly nut shortbread cookies, with many more people.
